The Woodlot

Drew threw the crew together for a trip out to Maple Ridge. After trying to find roads that don't actually exist in burnaby, I was able to hook up with the big posse. Dave made it out too, 12 of us all together. First time for me to the woodlot. Everyone took a break to add armor the first rip down. I was under the impression that the woodlot was more of an all mountain type ride. I left my gear at home and rode light. Not a bad call but should I return I would travel heavier. 6&6's are perfect here. 5&5's good but a big bike wouldn't go a miss either.
Trevor looking happy to have made it to the end of the Cabin Trail. That or he's checking out my ride.
Ride Mom Marylin heading up to the log ride.
Brian showing off his mad skills on a fairly intimidating rock face.

Todd doing the same.
Brian's turn

They we're nice enough to session it for me so I could make this post.
The whole day was a bit of a cluster $%&! for me. Late to 8 rinks, no armor and I left my wallet in the car. But no complaints about the ride. Sweet old school style riding, lots of loamy trails with good speed.

Great day. Thanks to Drew and Daleth for throwing it together. Looking forward to the next ride with these guys. Below is some footage of drew taking on a teeter totter.

Your saddle's got fingers!
That must make for "interesting" riding...
